Trick or Truth? Spirits, Demons, and the Dead

Death is one of life’s greatest mysteries, and nearly every culture has its own answers. Are the dead conscious in another realm, or do they simply sleep in the grave? Can loved ones return to communicate with the living, or are such appearances something far more sinister? Why does the world celebrate death on holidays like Halloween while the Bible calls God the “God of the living”?

In this presentation we will confront the big questions:

  • What really happens when a person dies?
  • Can the dead communicate with the living—or is it a deception?
  • What does the Bible mean when it says “the dead know not anything”?

We will also expose common errors widely accepted today:

  • The belief that souls go immediately to heaven or hell at death.
  • The teaching that ghosts and spirits are the souls of the departed.
  • The glorification of death in popular culture and religion.

Instead, the Bible reveals a consistent truth: death is an unconscious sleep until the resurrection, and any appearance of the “dead” is the work of demons seeking to deceive. By understanding this, we find hope in the God of life, and protection from the deadly deceptions that are sweeping the world.

Every Eye Shall See Him: The True Coming vs. the Counterfeit Christ

Jesus warned that in the last days, many would come claiming to be Christ, and that “false christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect” (Matt. 24:24). In a world hungry for hope, how can we know the difference between the true return of Jesus and the dazzling counterfeits Satan will bring?

This presentation will address key questions:

  • What does the Bible say about how Jesus will return?
  • Will Christ’s coming be secret, or will “every eye” truly see Him?
  • How will Satan attempt to counterfeit the Second Coming?
  • What signs help us recognize the real from the false?

We will contrast common errors with biblical truth:

  • The world’s teaching of a secret rapture vs. the Bible’s teaching of a visible, audible return.
  • The expectation of Christ walking the earth in peace vs. Scripture’s testimony of Christ coming in the clouds with power and glory.

From ancient times until today, people have longed to know the future. Nations consult astrologers, millions follow psychic predictions, and entire religions rise around modern-day prophets. But amid the noise, how can we discern which voices are true, and which are false? The Bible promises that “surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets” (Amos 3:7). True prophecy is God’s roadmap for His people—yet Satan has flooded the world with counterfeits to confuse and mislead.

In this presentation we will address pressing questions:

  • Does God still speak through prophets today?
  • How can we tell the difference between true and false prophecy?
  • What are the Bible’s clear tests for a prophet?
  • Why is prophecy essential for preparing for the end-time crisis?

We will contrast common errors with the truth of God’s Word:

  • The world’s error on pre-tribulation rapture, the third temple, and a 7-year tribulation period that are leading many to destruction.

As wars rage, economies crumble, and violence spreads in the name of religion and politics, many are asking: Where is God? Has He abandoned the world? The Bible points us to the sanctuary—a heavenly blueprint that reveals God’s plan to deal with sin, bring justice, and restore hope. Far from being silent, God is actively working on behalf of humanity in the most important phase of salvation history.

This presentation will explore vital questions:

  • What is the sanctuary, and why is it central to the gospel?
  • How does the work of Christ as our High Priest give hope in a chaotic world?
  • What does the judgment mean for us today?
  • How does the sanctuary expose Satan’s deceptions in the last days?

We will contrast the world’s confusion with biblical truth:

  • The teaching that salvation is complete at the cross alone vs. the Bible’s testimony of Christ’s ongoing work in heaven on our behalf.
  • The Scapegoat vs the Lord’s Goat, Satan vs. Jesus

By rediscovering the sanctuary, we uncover a message of hope: God has not abandoned the world. He is finishing His work of redemption and preparing to return. The world is already being prepared for this decision through movements that exalt human tradition above God’s law. But the Bible provides clear guidance on how to stand faithful when the whole world wonders after the beast.

This presentation will answer key questions:

  • What is the mark of the beast, and how will it be enforced?
  • What does the Bible reveal about the seal of God?
  • Why is the Sabbath central to the final test of loyalty?
  • How can we prepare today to remain faithful tomorrow?

We will contrast common errors with the truth of God’s Word:

  • The belief that the mark of the beast is a microchip, barcode, or political symbol vs. the biblical reality that it is about worship and obedience.
  • The idea that God’s commandments are no longer binding vs. the Bible’s testimony that His law is eternal.
  • The Seal of God vs the Mark of the Beast, understanding worship at the end of time.

By understanding the final test, we see that the issue is not technology, but worship; not chips, but free-choice. The seal of God marks those who love Him and keep His commandments, while the mark of the beast identifies those who follow man’s authority over God’s Word. Only by anchoring in Christ today can we stand firm in the crisis soon to come.
